This experiment was intended to examine the extent of fire damage inside a colonial style two-story structure with an open front door and two open upstairs bedroom windows. The fire was ignited in the family room. The fire developed and family room transitioned to flashover. Primary fire suppressed occurred with simultaneous hose streams through front door and into bedroom 2 window.
